Do you think my kids came away with enough candy? It's been a challenge to keep them away from it. It seems that all they want for breakfast, lunch and dinner is sugar, sugar and more sugar. You gotta love those sugar highs at Easter time!
Every year my Mom goes above and beyond to make Easter special. She always makes baskets for the kids. This is what this years looked like. SOOO cute! Thanks Mom! :)
These pictures below are of the Kohler Easter party. We held it at a church this year and the kids loved having a huge room to play in. We ran around, played some basketball and just had tons of fun. You'll notice in a couple pictures below that we hid a couple eggs in the back of Papa's Jazzy. When kids came up to him to grab the eggs, he would dart off. But Gracie was the lucky one to grab the eggs when Papa was sitting still. :)

One of the highlights of the party of was Papa taking all the kids for a ride on his Jazzy. They all loved it!
This picture of Hannah hugging Papa is probably one of my favorites. No one told her to give him a hug. She just wanted to give him a squeeze. She told me that he looked all alone and sad in the corner. She's pretty sweet for doing that.:)

Hannah told me that she wanted to try a different smile for the picture and this is what she gave us. I told her to smile pretty and she said "Mom, this smile is pretty." All well. At least Lacey finally smiled for a picture. :)

The pictures below are of the Nydegger Easter party. The weather was great and the kids had so much fun finding the Easter eggs and presents around the yard. This was the first year without some of our family. We missed Uncle Kyle (who's on his mission right now) and Jeff, Erin and Jackson who are living in Texas. We wish you guys could have been here. We hope you guys had a great Easter. :) We were happy to have Great-Grandpa Dave and Great-Grandma Jesse join us for Easter dinner. We love when they come to visit.
Below is Lacey and Jayden. They got these whistle suckers from Grandma K and for some reason, they stood in the living room looking at the wedding pictures of me, Nate, Jeff, Erin, Missy and Chris and sucked away on their goodies. :)

There were little chocolate eggs hidden all over the yard and the kids found every single one.
Jayden had so much fun hunting for eggs. He was one happy kid!
